🏆 Winner of the the IV Maria Luz Morales Award for Best International video-essay.
During this last century, many classifications have been proposed for the history of cinema. With this video-essay I intend to offer one of many options; the division into two large groups of filmmakers whose interpretation and projection of the passage of time seems antagonistic.
The jury highlighted the “virtuous use of editing to develop a discourse on the existential dimension in contemporary cinema, which manages to mobilize reflection and emotion, reaching the core of film in a review of the aspects of creation and destruction in cinema, from a comparative, broad and rigorous perspective”
